Day 4 – Chiang Mai

This whole meal was only £6.70!
We walked around Chiang Mai and visited the various temples around the city. Some of the temples we visited only men were allowed to enter.

We journeyed up the Monk’s Hike which led to the hidden Wat Pha Lat and meditation retreat. The hike took around 30-45 minutes and was very sweaty.

Finally made it up to the biggest temple in Chiang Mai which sits high in the mountains. You had to climb 306 steps to get to the temple
It was a very sweaty day:)

Ended the evening at the Sunday Market
Street food was sold amongst arts, clothing and other items
Enjoyed some live music as well

  2. Great pictures. The temples are beautiful. Did you eat any of the fried insects? Scorpions? Daddy would not last a day there. Both look so happy (and sweaty lol). What an adventure and it is only day 4.
