Day 6 – Chiang Mai

Attended a Thai cooking school today that started at a local market where we got to see all the local spices and produce needed for our meals
Started off cooking our starters which were spring rolls (fried) and fresh spring rolls

For mains Giulia made chicken in coconut milk soup (Tom kha kai), pad thai and lemongrass tea
Thomas’s main was hot and sour prawn creamy soup (Tom yum kung), stir fried chicken with cashew nuts and lemongrass tea
Finally we made curries which were surprisingly our favourite dishes! This was the Chiang Mai curry with egg noodle (khao soi) which was Giulia’s favourite
Thomas made the Panaeng curry with chicken, also his favourite!
