Day 62 & 63 Cat Ba Island and Halong Bay

Took a boat tour around Cat Ba Island and Halong Bay
These are the fishing villages of the local people. They live on the water for the year.
Fish farm
Squid fishing boat. You can see all the lightbulbs that are used when there is no moonlight.
Turtle island
Lunch
We kayaked around for about an 1 1/2
Then we jumped off the boat and swam to some beaches

    Looks like you had a great time. I can’t imagine living in one of those fishing villages. I love the rock formations that made up turtle island. It really looks like a turtle.
