Day 1 of our slow boat journey down the Mekong River to Luang Prabang

Took a 4 hour minibus from Chiang Mai to Pai. The road through the mountains is known for its 762 bends.

Day 2 – Bamboo rafting and elephant conservation and sanctuary Doi Inthanon National Park is home to numerous elephant sanctuaries, many elephants whom have now escaped abuse. The accommodation we stayed in is working towards adopting all the elephants from neighbouring sanctuaries in order to provide them with happier, free roaming lives.
